The Public Sector IT Conference is designed by the Public Service IT Community exclusively for the Public Sector IT Community in partnership with the Irish Computer Society.

Conference Theme: Connecting the people who deliver Public Sector ICT

What's New? This year we have handed the conference fully over to those who do the job, every day, of trying to revolutionise Public Sector IT while maintaining maximum public safety and reliability.

For the first time the Public Sector, Semi-State and Local Government IT will meet in private to show and share the best of Public Service IT.

Leave your contact details to explore our partnership details.

About the Event

This event is organised by some of the leading Public Sector ICT modernisers to highlight the many successful ICT initiatives within the Public Sector and to also address the diverse challenges faced by the Irish public sector.

Our aim is to ensure that we provide the right environment for the greatest communication, learning and sharing of best practice to take place. PSIT provides you, the Public Sector workers, the space to meet your peers, debate and share ideas supported by a series of interactive seminars.

Organisation Team

  • John Barron – CIO, Revenue
  • Liam Stewart - Head of ICT OPW
  • Margaret Kinsella – IT Manager, EPA
  • Mary O’Donohue – Director, Office of Government CIO
  • Maria O’Loughlin – Engagement Specialist, HSE
  • Tim Willoughby – LGMA

If you work in the Public Sector and want to explore the potential for a smarter, more efficient Public Service infrastructure then take this day for you and your team to discover what’s possible. Lunch and coffee breaks and will provide networking opportunities with policy makers, practitioners and industry experts throughout the day.

Draft Agenda

While there are many very successful and innovative ICT solutions currently supporting the Public Sector, we must keep pace with increasing public expectations and rapidly changing technology.

In this digital age, Government organisations need to adapt ever more quickly to take account of changes in business models, new ways of working, customer behaviour and customer expectations while at the same time driving improved efficiencies and effectiveness in a cost effective manner.

Delivering great business solutions using technology and data analysis will help drive better efficiency, service quality and cost savings. PSIT draws together those leading this change to share their successes and discuss the challenges ahead.
