As part of the academic communities' response to COVID-19, NUI Galway and DCU have set up a Citizen Science project. We'd very much welcome your support in filling in a short online survey. The url is: http://www.nuigalway.ie/corona-study/
How are you dealing in the Corona pandemic? On 8 April and 22 April we asked you to participate in our Corona-study. More than 140,000 responses have been received over the two surveys. Thank you!
In the new questionnaire, a few questions are a repeat from the last time (so we can compare the results). We've added new questions to reflect the evolving environment including the phased lifting of restrictions announced by the government last week. We hope you will fill this questionnaire out and SHARE it with everyone you know!
There are no risks in participating. The data we collect is anonymous.
The Corona Citizens Science project is a national anonymous online survey with the objective of developing an insight into how the Corona pandemic and the corresponding restrictive measures are impacting on people’s activities, work, school and childcare. With the results, we want to identify barriers people are encountering, how people are coping with the lockdown, how they are dealing with childcare issues etc.
This information is important for the government to improve their response and will help planning for future measures in relation to COVID-19 and beyond. We’re asking everyone in Ireland to fill out the questionnaire on 6 May any time from 6am for a period of 24 hours. The aim is to report on the findings the next day.
