The conference themes are:
As a participant, you will be involved in our community of stakeholders in the fields of ICT, computing and digital media in education. OCCE.2018 will offer a forum, to follow latest research, see and discuss innovative technology, share your knowledge and experiences, network with colleagues, be inspired by leading experts, and offer your ideas to other professionals.
OCCE.2018 is a conference that encourages different forms of submission - researchers can submit scientific papers, policy makers can submit policy papers, and practitioners can submit examples of practice.
Scientific papers will be reviewed by International Programme Committee members and reviewers according to the form of submission. As well as scientific papers there are many other formats of presentation.
Selected papers will be published in a post-conference book and in a special edition of the Official Journal of the IFIP Technical Committee on Education (Education and Information Technology) published by Springer.
Please have a look at the “Call for Papers” provided for download on the conference website.
Practitioners / Teachers
OCCE.2018 will be an opportunity for practitioners in ICT in education to showcase their experiences, and to meet researchers who can share the results of their work. Teachers have the opportunity to meet colleagues from many other countries.
We welcome decision and strategy makers from all over the world to share their experiences and questions, and to explore research and practice of ICT in education in a variety of settings, to gain new ideas and discuss their challenges and successes with other experts.
Developers and those concerned with commercial, business and industry applications of educational technologies in education can showcase their latest developments, receive responses from their users, and find new ideas for future developments and products.
A Doctoral Consortium will provide an opportunity for PhD students to discuss and explore their research ideas, to practice presenting at an international conference and to receive feedback from active senior researchers in IT and ICT education. You can find more about the Doctoral Consortium on our website.
