ICS welcomes Padraig Farrell (FICS) as a new Fellow.
Padraig Farrell has been working in the IT industry for over30 years. In that time he has worked in software development, project management and service management.
He held many roles with ICL covering support, account management and service delivery management.
As operations manager for an IT services company he was responsible for the running of the service desk, ensuring SLA’s were met. He also managed the relationship with customers and agreed processes improvement programs. In addition to service delivery he was responsible for the management of customer infrastructure projects and developed and implemented an effective project management methodology.
He has delivered many ITIL training courses to a diverse range of organisations in Ireland and the USA.
Working with customers and suppliers is what he enjoys most. He has worked as service delivery manager in number of organisations from airlines to insurance.
Recently he has been working on software development using the Service Now platform.
He is a member of the itSMF management committee and represents the itSMF in the ICS council.
Padraig has an MSc in project management from the UCD Michael Smurfit School of business. He also holds ITIL and Prince2 accreditations
