ICS welcomes Maurice Hennessy as a new Fellow of the society. Maurice holds the position of Chief Information & Security Operations Officer in daa. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing the Group information technology strategy along with responsibility for all security planning and operations functions for Dublin Airport. Maurice is also responsible for delivery of the North Runway Project, including construction and safeguarding the operational effectiveness of the runway system.
Up to February 2018, Maurice was also responsible for the daa transformation programme to step change the way of working and staff engagement in daa.
Maurice previously held the position of Director Commercial, daa, with responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership for non-retail commercial revenues including car parks, property, property concessions and advertising, group marketing and commercial business development. Maurice joined the company as Group Head of Financial & Business Planning in October 2007.
Before joining daa, Maurice worked for 13 years for US multinational organisations; for Global Crossing as Vice President Corporate Controller and other roles and prior to this for Analog Devices in a variety of roles.
Maurice is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and qualified with PwC.
