Business Transformation Index report released by Expleo Ireland

Expleo Ireland, a global consultancy firm, has published its third consecutive Business Transformation Index (BTI 2022 Ireland). The report takes an in-depth look into ways how businesses in Ireland are using innovation to overcome challenges such as tech skills shortages and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.  

The report found that 77% of enterprises see the skills gap and talent shortages as the top challenge to digital transformation: 79% of large enterprises said that hiring and retaining tech talent is an issue for them. At the same time, 84% of businesses in Ireland expect profit increases over the next 5 years. 

The report also provides key recommendations for businesses to optimise the potential benefits of the digital transformation.
