What is the CIO Forum?

A series of quarterly peer-networking events for CIOs that provides a unique opportunity to meet, network and learn from the country’s best IT minds.

The Forum addresses the need for a stable and enduring platform for peer networking, discussion and debate for CIOs and high-level management more generally. As the only forum of its kind in Ireland, it provides a unique opportunity to meet, network and learn from the country’s best IT minds.

A space to discuss prevalent IT issues

The Forum provides a space for CIOs to critically debate key issues within IT (CIO challenges, security, IT infrastructure, architecture) and devise strategies and methodologies for moving forward. Learn how to implement actionable ideas and strategies for your business and impart some wisdom of your own

For IT that’s continually changing

Given the challenges CIOs are constantly faced with, the forum takes place every three months of the year (February, May, August, November), between 11-1pm on the day. Keynote speakers offer their thoughts on the agreed topics, after which an open discussion is held.

ICS Leaders Network

The group is open only to graduates of the ICS Leadership Development Programme and ICS Members of Professional Grade or higher.

It is a prerequisite that you are a member of the Irish Computer Society LinkedIn Group to join the ICS Leaders Network sub group.

The aim of the group is facilitate Ireland's senior IT professionals in developing peer networks. It is a private forum that allows for open dialogue on topics that participants deem fit to discuss.
