Women4IT Project - Breakfast Meeting - Friday 4 September at 11am.

If you're a woman wishing to reshape her career or if you're an employer looking to fill in digital vacancies, join the Women4IT Webinar!

About this Event

A new opportunity is now available in Ireland for young women between 18 and 29 years old who want to reshape their career for a digital job but also for employers who are looking to hire skilled and highly motivated staff for the below roles:

  • Digital Media Executive
  • Graphic Designer
  • Customer Service Representative
  • Tester
  • Junior Web Developer
  • Data Analyst

We will offer free training to young women living in Ireland, who are between 18 and 29 years old and who are currently not in employment, education nor training. We anticipate an innovative and blended training for each of the above job profiles provided by SureSkills Ltd. The training will last 160 hours and the women will be ready for employment from January 2021.

As the ultimate goal of the project is to secure digital jobs for the participants, we are expecting to work closely with employers who need young, dynamic and well-trained staff, and who have a commitment to diversity and social responsibility in the project.  Indeed, we are hoping to get employers' involvement from the start to work together and to integrate some specific skills or software in the programme.

If you wish to learn more, we are holding an online breakfast meeting on Friday 4th September, at 11 am. This will give you the opportunity to get more information and to interact in real -time with the project’s participants.

About Women4IT

Women4IT is a a multi-stakeholder partnership funded by the EEA Grants and the Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. The ICS is one of 9 partners involved in the project.

The initiative aims to select and train 120 young women in Ireland for existing digital and ICT jobs. We are planning an innovative blended training experience for each of the above mentioned job profiles.

A critical piece of the project is to involve potential employers who have a commitment to diversity and social responsibility and an interest in employing young, dynamic, well-trained staff.
