Karen Dewar has over 35 years experience in the information technology industry. She has worked for IBM for the last 22 years and prior to that for a large South African Bank.
In her current role Karen and her technical sales team work with customers across a broad spectrum of industries to help them understand how IBM's Cloud and Cognitive capabilities can speed them on their digital transformation journey. Karen herself is passionate about the potential AI has to change the way we live and work, and the positive outcomes it can deliver for our society when implemented responsibly. She invests time working with clients to shape new business models and services that are enabled through the use of Cloud and AI technologies.
