Irish Computer Society (ICS) endorses Career Zoo 2012

Career Zoo which will take place on Saturday 22nd September at the Convention Centre Dublin is established as Ireland's biggest event for professionals and graduates looking to advance their careers in Ireland. More than 100 multinational and Irish businesses will have a presence at the event with 4,000 jobs on offer, the main focus being on tech opportunities.

Last February thousands of people went to Career Zoo to meet with Ireland’s most successful and innovative employers, education providers and enterprise organisations. This September, Career Zoo will take place in The Convention Centre Dublin and is expected to be even bigger.

A new addition this September is the 'Tech Box' which will host a schedule of tech activities on the day including App Factories from Microsoft where you can come along and learn to build an app in an hour, talks from Amazon, Twitter, Accenture and Coder Dojo co-founder James Whelton. There will also be an 'Ideas Hub' hosted by Microsoft.

There will also be interview and networking areas and an interactive zone featuring products and services from Ireland's most innovative organisations.

The event which has been endorsed by the Irish Computer Society, is sponsored by Microsoft, Amazon, Hays, the Irish Research Council and 'IT's Happening Here' - a campaign supported by Enterprise Ireland which is promoting 1,500 open roles in Irish software sector companies.
