Description
Professor Joe Peppard's CIO Masterclass series returns on Friday 26th March
It is well established that managing change associated with IT deployments can be difficult. Yet, it is only through achieving this change that the value of the investment is ultimately released. This first of three Masterclasses on the theme of managing change will focus on organisational culture. Achieving cultural change presents a particular challenge as an organisation’s culture can be deeply embedded not just in its social structure and psychology but also its history.
This Masterclass will explore the concept of culture and examine its impact on organisational performance. A framework to unpack and surface an organisations culture as well as explore its impact will be presented. A number of strategies for managing culture will also be presented. The class will also examine the so called “cultural gap” that is often observed between the IS organisation and the rest of the business.
Registration & Refreshments: 7.30am
This Seminar will start promptly at: 8.00am
