The Irish Computer Society and EuroCloud Ireland have announced that registrations are now open for the seminar on "Cloud Computing - climate change for legal contracts?”  This event will be on Thursday July 1st in the Clarion hotel in the IFSC at 7:45am with a repeat at 10:30am. Please state which time is your preference. 

We also wish to bring it to your attention that you can also watch the first session online from 8am, please state this in an email to events@ics.ie.  We will have details on this closer to the time, so please make sure you register in advance to ensure you are notified.

At this event, Philip Nolan examines the legal implications of cloud computing for your business. He looks at its likely impact on your existing legal responsibilities and relationships. Philip will focus on how to address contractual matters such as service provider liability, data protection and retention as well as capacity/availiability issues and their impact. Philip is a partner and head of Mason Hayes+Curran's Commercial Department, as well as being a board member of EuroCloud Ireland.

Philip will be joined on the panel by Michael Martin from Enterprise Ireland and Hugh Jones, ICS Data Protection Specialist.
