Description
The Irish Computer Society is holding the 2010 ICS Fellows’ Luncheon on 21st May. This event will be held at Residence Members Club, 41 St. Stephens Green, Dublin 2.
The Council of the Irish Computer Society will bestow an Honorary Fellowship of the Society upon Martin Curley, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the IT profession.
This event will be held in honour of Dr. Michael Sherwood-Smith, FICS, who passed away last year. Michael was a long-standing Member and Fellow of the Society. Throughout his career, he made a remarkable contribution to the Society, the profession generally, digital literacy and, of course, his students in UCD.
This event is by invitation only. If you are a current Fellow of the Society (Member Grades: Fellow, Honorary Fellow and Distinguished Fellow) please note the date change to Friday 21st, May 2010 at 12:30pm.
