Description
In the current economic climate IT is under immense pressure to deliver more with less. Recent research here shown that nearly two-thirds of IT Executives do not have a standard business case format for IT projects. The ongoing challenge for CIOs and IT Managers will be in achieving incremental and sustainable IT cost savings while simultaneously enabling cost reductions in the wider business. This presentation will give guidance rom practical experience and research into how IT can make a successful business case to Finance and the business for IT projects.
This presentation will be delivered by Graham Fagan of BT
About Graham:
Graham Fagan is Head of Technology for BT's largest managed services contract in Ireland. With 15 years experience in the ICT industry, he has held various management positions in organisations such as Perot Systems and Bank of Ireland. In the last 5 years, he has carried out substantial research in the areas of IT Outsourcing and IT / Business Alignment. Fagan has a first class BSc honors degree in business and information technology from Trinity College Dublin, as well as a masters degree in the management of information systems. He also holds a number of leading industry accreditations such as CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT).
