The majority of respondents to a recent survey of ICS members said that their senior managements were most interested in ICT initiatives which could reduce costs. This talk will discuss ways in which ICT departments can meet these expectations, focussing particularly on voice & data communications and energy costs, identifying common areas of cost leakage and effective ways to deal with them.
Speaker: Fintan Swanton, President of the Irish Computer Soceity, MSc CEng FICS MBCS CITP
Fintan is a partner in Expense Reduction Ireland, a consultancy specialising in cost management, focussing on cost and overhead analysis, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
