Description

This talk will discuss reporting of data protection breaches with reference to the consultation paper recently published by the Data Protection Review Group. Pat will provide an overview of what mandatory reporting of data protection breaches may entail and will look at what other countries are doing in this respect. Pat will also discuss the potential benefits of mandatory reporting as well as asking why everybody is not in favour of mandatory reporting.

This talk is brought to you by Pat Casey, a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young’s Advisory Services team and has 12 years’ experience in Information Security and IT Audit. He has performed several Data Privacy audits and advised a number of Irish companies on implementation of Data Privacy frameworks.
