Survey reveals increase in awareness of data protection requirements through firsthand experience of data breaches rather than training and policy/procedures within Irish Companies. Over two thirds of respondents stated that they have a clear understanding of the current legislation surrounding Data Protection in Ireland according to a survey published by the Irish Computer Society (ICS) in advance of its annual Data Protection conference on Thursday, February 9th 2012.
