The IT Sales Network is a special interest group for both IT and Sales Professionals involved in a sales-related role in the IT sector. The network was formed by the ICS in collaboration with the Sales Institute of Ireland (SII).

The objectives of the IT Sales Network are to:

• improve skills and knowledge of IT sales techniques amongst members
• inform and educate other IT professionals about the sales process and its significance
• increase understanding of the needs of the buyer and the workings of the purchasing process
• increase knowledge of other markets and their peculiarities
• provide networking opportunities for IT Sales professionals

The Certificate in IT Selling Skills was developed by ICS and the SII specifically for IT Sales professionals. It is a quality certification programme, which provides an insight into the profession of selling and, by using a blended learning approach, enables participants to quickly acquire knowledge and effective selling skills.
